ABOUT THE ARTIST:Diane Trivelli aka BflyLadyDi εїз is the founder/President of the Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation, Inc. Diane made a promise to her daughter Arielle Anacker on her deathbed that she would start a foundation that would help needy children with cancer and pay their bills while they were sick and getting treatment. Since Diane is known by many as the Butterfly Lady, as she raises butterflies and releases them into the wild (another promise she made to Arielle before she passed away), she created her stage name as BflyLadyDi εїз. Diane loves to sing and perform. She had formal training in NYC under the guidance of Ms. Allison Starr in her teens and sang for many years in her synagogue as a cantorial soloist.

On November 26, 1999, my daughter, Arielle Anacker (b. 12/28/1989 - d. 1/19/2001) was chosen to be featured on a CNN documentary that educated the public about The Children's Inn (TCI) on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Bethesda, MD. Arielle and I stayed at TCI on and off for three years during Arielle's treatment for Ewing's sarcoma bone cancer.
